Education Code § 51.901
Certain state higher-education governing boards may buy liability insurance for atomic energy reactor or nuclear science activities, up to $250,000, and may pay the premium from appropriated funds. The insurer cannot assert sovereign immunity for claims arising from a nuclear incident.
