Occupations Code § 601.105

Sec. 601.105. ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE; TERM. (a) The advisory board shall issue a certificate to an applicant who: (1) meets the minimum standards for certification established under Section 601.052; (2) passes the required examinations; (3) complies with the criminal history record information requirement of Section 601.1031; (4) submits an application on a form prescribed by the advisory board; (5) pays the required application fee; (6) certifies that the applicant is mentally and physically able to perform radiologic procedures; and (7) submits to the advisory board any other information the advisory board considers necessary to evaluate the applicant's qualifications. (b) A certificate is valid for two years from the date of issuance. (c) The advisory board may delegate authority to medical board employees to issue certificates under this chapter to applicants who clearly meet all certification requirements. If the medical board employees determine that the applicant does not clearly meet all certification requirements, the application must be returned to the advisory board.
