Estates Code § 201.053
A purchaser who buys heirs’ property for value can get good title if they rely in good faith on an affidavit of heirship, lack knowledge of the excluded child’s claim, and the excluded child is not a presumed child and has not been found entitled to treatment as the decedent’s child under Section 201.052.
