Insurance Code § 2201.006
The commissioner may use the code’s enforcement powers, including investigation, subpoena, deposition or hearing, orders, and penalties, unless preempted by federal law, and must rely on state procedural laws and rules for investigations, administrative proceedings, and litigation.
