Business & Commerce Code § 321.107
A person filing an action under Section 321.104 must notify the attorney general by registered or certified mail within 30 days of filing and at least 10 days before the hearing. A violation can lead to a civil penalty of up to $200 per violation, which the attorney general may sue to recover.
