Transportation Code § 431.004

Sec. 431.004. OPEN MEETINGS. (a) A corporation is subject to Chapter 551, Government Code. (b) Except as provided by Subsection (c) or (d), the board shall file notice of each meeting of the board in the same manner and in the same location as is required of a state governmental body under Chapter 551, Government Code. (c) If the commission designates an area of the state in which a corporation may act on behalf of the commission, the board shall file notice of each meeting of the board in the same manner and in the same location as is required of a governmental body under Section 551.053, Government Code. (d) The board of a local government corporation shall file notice of each meeting of the board in the same manner and in the same location as is required of the governing body under Chapter 551, Government Code, of the one or more local governments that created the local government corporation.
