Occupations Code § 2301.703

Sec. 2301.703. HEARING REQUIRED IN CONTESTED CASE. (a) A hearing arising under this chapter or a board rule adopted under this chapter must be conducted in accordance with this chapter, any order, decision, or rule of the board, and Chapter 2001, Government Code. (b) A hearing may be informally disposed of in accordance with Chapter 2001, Government Code. (c) The parties to a contested case under this chapter or Chapter 503, Transportation Code, other than a contested case in an action brought by the department to enforce this chapter or Chapter 503, Transportation Code, must participate in mediation as provided by board rule before the parties may have a hearing in the case.
