Government Code § 824.307
If the medical board finds a disability retiree is no longer incapacitated, it must certify and send that finding to the board of trustees. In certain cases, the board must stop annuity payments, the retiree must rejoin the retirement system, and some account funds must be transferred. The member is entitled to service
