Human Resources Code § 152.2261

Sec. 152.2261. TARRANT COUNTY. (a) The juvenile board of Tarrant County is composed of the county judge and the district judges in Tarrant County. (b) If the chief juvenile probation officer serves as secretary to the juvenile board, the officer may receive additional annual compensation of $1,000. (c) The juvenile board shall hold meetings at least once every three months in accordance with board rules. (d) The board shall keep records as required by law and board rules. (e) A juvenile probation officer shall take the oath of office when appointed and the oath and the fact of the appointment shall be filed with the county clerk. (f) The commissioners court shall provide the juvenile probation officers with: (1) automobiles and their maintenance and operation expenses for use in official duties; or (2) an automobile allowance for the use of a personal automobile on official business in the amount determined to be necessary by the juvenile board. (g) The commissioners court shall provide the necessary funds to pay the salaries and expenses of the juvenile probation personnel and the additional compensation prescribed for the county judge. (h) Sections 152.0002, 152.0004, 152.0005, 152.0006, 152.0007, and 152.0008(a) do not apply to the juvenile board of Tarrant County. Added by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 352, Sec. 1, eff.
