Government Code § 24.220
The 118th Judicial District covers Glasscock, Howard, and Martin counties, and the district courts’ terms begin on specified Mondays in each county. The judges of the 70th and 118th district courts may take six weeks of vacation each year, but they must coordinate so one judge is always present.
