Water Code § 58.031

Sec. 58.031. MULTICOUNTY DISTRICT: APPEAL FROM COMMISSION DECISION. (a) When the commission grants or refuses a petition, any person who comes within the requirements specified in Sections 58.020-58.025 of this code may prosecute an appeal from the judgment of the commission under Sections 58.022-58.025 of this code. (b) The appeal may be taken to any district court in any county in which part of the proposed district is located or to a district court in Travis County. (c) The time within which an appeal bond may be approved and filed is 15 days after the entry of the final order by the commission. (d) On the perfection of the appeal, the appellant shall pay the actual cost of the transcript of the record, which will be assessed as part of the costs incurred on the appeal. (e) Whenever practicable, the original documents and processes with the returns attached shall be sent to the district court. Added by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 1537, ch. 627, Sec. 1, eff.
