Occupations Code § 505.359

Sec. 505.359. ISSUANCE OF LICENSE TO PROVISIONAL LICENSE HOLDER. (a) The executive council shall issue an appropriate license to a provisional license holder: (1) who passes the licensing examination under Section 505.354 and the jurisprudence examination under Section 505.3545; (2) for whom the executive council verifies that the person satisfies the academic and experience requirements under Section 505.353; and (3) who satisfies any other license requirements under this chapter. (b) The executive council shall complete the processing of a provisional license holder's application for a license not later than the 180th day after the date the provisional license is issued or the date licenses are issued after successful completion of the next licensing and jurisprudence examinations, whichever date is later. (c) The executive council may waive a license requirement for an applicant who is licensed or certified in another state if this state has entered into a reciprocity agreement with that state.
