Occupations Code § 1301.304

Sec. 1301.304. INVESTIGATION OF COMPLAINTS. (a) The board or an employee designated by the board may investigate an alleged violation of this chapter or a board rule. (b) Repealed by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 137 (H.B. 636), Sec. 32(2), eff. May 26, 2021. (c) The board shall conduct joint investigations with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as circumstances require. (d) Unless a threat to health or safety exists, the board may choose to not investigate a complaint in which the person filing the complaint and the person who is the subject of the complaint are engaged in litigation related to the subject matter of the complaint until the outcome of the litigation is finally determined if the board determines the complaint process is being abused.
