Government Code § 2306.092

Sec. 2306.092. DUTIES REGARDING CERTAIN PROGRAMS CREATED UNDER FEDERAL LAW. The department shall administer, as appropriate under policies established by the board: (1) state responsibilities for programs created under the federal Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. Section 2701 et seq.); (2) programs assigned to the department under the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1981 (Pub.L. No. 97-35); and (3) other federal acts creating economic opportunity programs assigned to the department. Added by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1993.
