Transportation Code § 452.502

Sec. 452.502. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF REGIONAL AUTHORITY. (a) The executive committee of a regional transportation authority confirmed in more than one subregion is composed of 11 members selected as follows: (1) seven members from the membership of the subregional board in the subregion that has a principal municipality with a population of more than 1.1 million according to the most recent federal decennial census; and (2) four members from the membership of the subregional board in the subregion that has no principal municipality with a population of more than 1.1 million according to the most recent federal decennial census. (b) The subregional boards shall select their representatives to the executive committee from their membership by a vote of the members. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
