Water Code § 58.025

Sec. 58.025. SINGLE-COUNTY DISTRICT: JUDGMENT OF DISTRICT COURT; APPEAL. (a) In the appeal, the district court shall apply to the determination its full powers to the end that substantial justice may be done. (b) An appeal from the judgment of the district court may be taken as in other civil causes, but appeals filed under Section 58.022 of this code shall be given precedence on the docket of any higher court over all causes that are not of similar public concern. (c) The final judgment of the district court, or other court to which an appeal may be prosecuted, shall be certified and transmitted to the clerk of the commissioners court with all original documents and processes which were transmitted from the commissioners court to the district court on appeal. (d) The commissioners court shall enter its order on the petition to conform to the decree entered by the court of final jurisdiction and shall enter other and further orders as may be required by law to execute the intent of the certified decree.
