Transportation Code § 68.104

Sec. 68.104. TRANSFER OF SHARES. (a) The association shall issue one share to a branch pilot on the pilot's initial commissioning if the pilot pays the association a sum equal to the value of the share determined in the manner provided by this subchapter. (b) The association shall purchase the share of a branch pilot who for any reason other than death ceases to render pilot services. The association shall purchase the share not later than the 30th day after the date of a request by the withdrawing pilot and on surrender of the share. (c) Not later than the 30th day after providing the association with proof of identity of the legal representative of the estate of a deceased branch pilot, the legal representative shall tender and transfer to the association the deceased pilot's share. The association shall pay the estate the value of the share determined as provided by this subchapter. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
