The department may inspect regulated businesses during business hours and may inspect other places or things when needed to enforce the chapter.

Sec. 2309.106. PERIODIC INSPECTIONS. (a) Repealed by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 663 (H.B. 1560), Sec. 1.25(30), eff. September 1, 2021. (b) The department may enter and inspect at any time during business hours: (1) the place of business of any person regulated under this chapter; or (2) any place in which the department has reasonable cause to believe that a license holder is in violation of this chapter or in violation of a rule or order of the commission or executive director.
