Water Code § 36.305

Sec. 36.305. NOTICE OF HEARING FOR DISSOLUTION OF BOARD OR DISTRICT. (a) The commission shall give notice of the hearing for dissolution of a district or of a board which briefly describes the reasons for the proceeding. (b) The notice shall be published once each week for two consecutive weeks before the day of hearing in a newspaper having general circulation in the county or counties in which the district is located. The first publication shall be 30 days before the day of the hearing. (c) The commission shall give notice of the hearing by first class mail addressed to the directors of the district according to the last record on file with the executive director.
