Government Code § 2175.061

Sec. 2175.061. RULES, FORMS, AND PROCEDURES. (a) The commission shall establish and maintain procedures for the transfer, sale, or disposal of surplus and salvage property as prescribed by law. (b) Subject to Subsection (c), the commission may prescribe forms and reports necessary to administer this chapter and may adopt necessary rules, including rules governing the sale or transfer of surplus or salvage property to state agencies, political subdivisions, or assistance organizations. (c) Subject to a risk assessment and to the legislative audit committee's approval of including the review in the audit plan under Section 321.013, the state auditor may review and comment on the forms and reports prescribed and the rules adopted by the commission under Subsection (b). (d) The commission may by rule determine the best method of disposal for surplus and salvage property of the state under this chapter. Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 41, Sec. 1, eff.
