Transportation Code § 257.114

Sec. 257.114. NOTICE OF BOND ELECTION. (a) A certified copy of an order for an election made under Section 257.113 shall be sent to the county clerk of each county included in whole or part in the road district. (b) After the clerk receives the certified copy of the election order, the commissioners court of each county at a regular or special session of the court held in the respective counties shall give notice of the proposed bond election to be held on the date provided by the order. The notice must state the time and place at which the election is to be held and state in substance the contents of the order. (c) All other proceedings relating to the question submitted must be in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1471, Government Code, that apply to county road bond elections.
