Occupations Code § 1101.704

Sec. 1101.704. PENALTY TO BE PAID OR HEARING REQUESTED. (a) Not later than the 20th day after the date the person receives the notice under Section 1101.703, the person may: (1) accept the executive director's determination, including the recommended administrative penalty; or (2) request in writing a hearing on the occurrence of the violation, the amount of the penalty, or both. (b) If the person accepts the executive director's determination, or fails to respond in a timely manner to the notice, the commission by order shall approve the determination and order payment of the recommended penalty or impose the recommended sanction.
