Estates Code § 1105.160
A guardian’s bond may use an authorized corporate or personal surety. If the sureties are individuals, the bond must have at least two sureties, and each must file an affidavit and own qualifying property in this state. A bond with an authorized corporate surety only needs one surety, unless another law says otherwise.
