Special District Local Laws Code § 8236.203
When bonds or other obligations backed by ad valorem taxes are issued, the board must impose a continuing annual ad valorem tax, and the district must annually impose enough tax to pay interest, principal or redemption amounts, and tax-imposition expenses.
