Occupations Code § 601.271

Sec. 601.271. COMPLAINT INFORMATION AND STATUS. (a) The advisory board shall maintain a system to promptly and efficiently act on complaints filed with the advisory board. The advisory board shall maintain: (1) information about the parties to the complaint and the subject matter of the complaint; (2) a summary of the results of the review or investigation of the complaint; and (3) information about the disposition of the complaint. (b) The advisory board shall make information available describing its procedures for complaint investigation and resolution. (c) If a written complaint is filed with the advisory board relating to a certificate holder or a person approved under Section 601.054 or 601.055, the advisory board, as often as quarterly and until final determination of the action to be taken on the complaint, shall notify the parties to the complaint of the status of the complaint unless the notice would jeopardize an active investigation.
