Government Code § 403.097

Sec. 403.097. FUNDS EXPENDED IN PROPORTION TO METHOD OF FINANCING. (a) The comptroller may prescribe rules to ensure that, when it is necessary to preserve cash balances in the funds and accounts in the state treasury, appropriations are drawn from the treasury in proportion to the methods of financing specified in the Acts authorizing the appropriations. (b) The rules may include procedures relating to the deposit of receipts and the issuance of warrants. (c) This section does not affect other powers of the comptroller under this subchapter, Subchapter H of Chapter 404, or other law. (d) This section does not apply if the method of financing specified for an agency or an institution of higher education in the Act authorizing appropriations includes interest earned or to be earned on local funds of the agency or institution.
