Agriculture Code § 58.015

Sec. 58.015. ADMINISTRATION. (a) The commissioner with the assistance of the board shall administer the Texas Agricultural Finance Authority. The board shall reimburse the Department of Agriculture for expenses incurred as required by the business of the authority with the approval of the board. (b) The commissioner may, with the approval of the board, appoint, employ, contract with, and provide for the compensation of employees, consultants, and agents including engineers, attorneys, management consultants, financial advisors, indexing agents, placement agents, and other experts as the business of the authority may require. (c) The commissioner may, with the approval of the board, employ an administrator of the authority. The administrator may attend all meetings and participate, but not vote, in all proceedings of the authority. Added by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., 2nd C.S., ch. 32, art. 2, Sec. 1.
