Transportation Code § 545.0605
Motorcycle riders may use a lane fully and may ride two abreast, but may not ride more than two abreast, ride between lanes of traffic moving the same direction, or pass a vehicle in the same lane; police officers on duty are excepted from subsection (a)(3).
