Insurance Code § 886.102
This section makes the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act apply to local mutual aid associations unless it conflicts with this code, gives the commissioner the secretary of state’s powers and duties for those associations, and allows dividends only with the commissioner’s advance approval.
