Natural Resources Code § 115.033

If the attorney general is advised of unlawful oil or a petroleum product, the attorney general must file an in rem action. If the court finds the oil is at risk of being removed, wasted, lost, or destroyed, it must issue relief, appoint a receiver, or order seizure. A party may demand a jury trial on factual issues.
