Election Code § 212.056

Sec. 212.056. TIME FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATION. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a supplementary recount application must be submitted not later than 5 p.m. of the second day after the date the applicant receives notice of the initial recount result under Section 213.032 or 213.056. (b) An application for a supplementary recount on a measure must be submitted not later than 5 p.m. of the second day after the date notice of the initial recount result under Section 213.032 or 213.056 was given to the person selected to receive notice of the petition's approval under Section 212.032 if the applicant is: (1) the campaign treasurer of a specific-purpose political committee who did not receive the notice of the initial recount result; or (2) a group of persons, none of whom received the notice of the initial recount result.
