Water Code § 51.129

Sec. 51.129. PUBLICATION OF RULES AND REGULATIONS. (a) The board shall publish once a week for two consecutive weeks a substantive statement of the rules or regulations and the penalty for their violation in one or more newspapers with general circulation in the area in which the property of the district is located. (b) The substantive statement shall be as condensed as is possible to intelligently explain the purpose to be accomplished or the act forbidden by the rule or regulation. (c) The notice must advise that breach of the regulations will subject the violator to a penalty and that the full text of the regulation is on file in the principal office of the district where it may be read by any interested person. (d) Any number of regulations may be included in one notice. Acts 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff. Aug. 30, 1971.
