Water Code § 16.344

Sec. 16.344. OVERSIGHT. (a) The board shall monitor the performance of a political subdivision that receives financial assistance under Subchapter K, Chapter 17, of this code to ensure that the project approved in the application and plans is constructed in the manner described in the application and plans and that the terms and conditions that govern the financial assistance are satisfied. (b) A political subdivision that receives financial assistance shall submit to the board monthly or as often as otherwise required by board rules an account of expenditures for the project during the preceding month or other required period. (c) A political subdivision that receives financial assistance shall furnish at the board's request additional information necessary for the board to monitor compliance with the approved application and plan for financial assistance and the terms and conditions of the financial assistance.
