Human Resources Code § 152.0671

Sec. 152.0671. DENTON COUNTY. (a) The Denton County Juvenile Board is composed of the county judge, the district judges in Denton County, and the judge of any county court at law in the county. (b) The juvenile board shall elect one of its members as chairman at the beginning of each year. (c) The commissioners court shall pay the juvenile board members an annual salary set by the commissioners court at not less than $1,500, payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county. (d) If approved by the juvenile board, the commissioners court shall reimburse each juvenile court judge for the judge's actual and necessary expenses incurred in attending seminars and other educational or instructional meetings related to juvenile matters. (e) Section 152.0005(b) does not apply to the juvenile board of Denton County. Added by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 352, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
