Water Code § 46.008

Sec. 46.008. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. (a) The executive director of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality or a designated representative selected from the staff of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality shall also serve as a commissioner and represent this state on the commission established by Article IX of the compact. (b) The executive director or the designated representative may exercise the powers and shall discharge the duties provided by the compact. (c) The executive director or the designated representative is not entitled to additional compensation for performing the duties under the compact but is entitled to reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred while traveling in the discharge of official duties.
