Special District Local Laws Code § 1024.105

Sec. 1024.105. PURCHASING AND ACCOUNTING PROCEDURES. (a) The board may prescribe: (1) the method of making purchases and expenditures by and for the district; and (2) accounting and control procedures for the district. (b) The board may act as a governmental entity under Chapter 2269, Government Code, for purposes of using the procurement procedures authorized by that chapter. For purposes of this subsection, notice under Section 2269.052(c), Government Code, must be provided by the district in the same manner as provided for a conservation and reclamation district created under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution.
