Finance Code § 96.054

Sec. 96.054. EXAMINATIONS. (a) The commissioner shall periodically examine the affairs of each savings bank and its subsidiaries and the transactions of any holding company that are related to the savings bank subsidiaries of the holding company. (b) An examination under this section may be performed in conjunction with an examination by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or another federal depository institutions regulatory agency having jurisdiction over a savings bank. The commissioner may accept an examination made by an appropriate banking agency as a substitute for an examination required by this section. (c) On completion of a report, a copy of an examination conducted under this section shall be furnished promptly to the savings bank. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
