Parks and Wildlife Code § 62.0631

Sec. 62.0631. SEA RIM STATE PARK. (a) The commission may provide an open season for recreational hunting in Sea Rim State Park that is not inconsistent with sound biological management practices normally exercised to protect or utilize the wildlife resources occurring therein. (b) The regulations of the commission under this section may not provide for a longer season, a greater seasonal or daily bag limit, or less restrictive means or methods of taking any wildlife resource than are provided in the regulations of the commission promulgated under the Wildlife Conservation Act of 1983 (Chapter 61 of this code), and Subchapter C, Chapter 64, of this code for the same year applicable to the remainder of Jefferson County. (c) The limitations provided in Subsections (a) and (b) of Section 62.062 of this code do not apply to the regulations of the commission under this section.
