VISTOS: VISTO: la facultad concedida al Poder Ejecutivo en el artículo 19º de la Ley Nº 17.345, de 31 de mayo de 2001.- CONSIDERANDO: la conveniencia de equiparar el tratamiento de las contribuciones a la seguridad social de aquellas empresas que brindan servicio de transporte de pasajeros mediante vehículos de taxímetros y remises, con otras que prestan servicios similares.- ATENTO: a lo expuesto.- EL PRESIDENTE DE LA REPUBLICA DECRETA: FIRMANTES: BATLLE - ALBERTO BENSION - ALVARO ALONSO Artículo 1 De acuerdo a lo establecido en el artículo 19º de la Ley Nº 17.345, de 31 de mayo de 2001, redúcese a 0% (cero por ciento), la alícuota de los aportes jubilatorios patronales al Banco de Previsión Social de los contribuyentes titulares de permisos municipales para la explotación de automóviles con taxímetro o remises, dentro del territorio nacional.- (*) [Nota: Ver en esta norma, artículo: 2.] Artículo 2 En el caso que en las empresas beneficiarias de la reducción de aportes referidas en el artículo precedente coexistan otras actividades, deberán ajustarse al procedimiento establecido para la industria manufacturera, dispuesto en los artículos 4º, 5º, 6º y 7º del Decreto Nº 245/000, de 30 de agosto de 2000.- Artículo 3 Las disposiciones contenidas en el presente Decreto entrarán en vigencia a partir del 1º de mayo de 2002.- Artículo 4 Comuníquese, publíquese, etc.-
