VISTOS: VISTO: la gestión promovida por el Comando General de la Armada, por la cual solicita la modificación del Decreto 368/993 de 17 de agosto de 1993, a efectos de incluir en la Categoría de la Gran Medalla "Honor al Mérito Naval Comandante Pedro Campbell" al señor Oficial Almirante que fuere designado en el cargo de Comandante en Jefe de la Armada Nacional. RESULTANDO: que por el Decreto 368/993 de 17 de agosto de 1993, se creó la Orden "Honor al Mérito Naval Comandante Pedro Campbell" otorgada a Militares y Civiles Nacionales o Extranjeros por servicios distinguidos y obras personales relevantes que hayan prestado o prestasen a la Armada Nacional. CONSIDERANDO: la conveniencia de otorgar la condecoración que distinga al señor Oficial Almirante al cual el Poder Ejecutivo le confía la conducción de la Armada Nacional, reconociendo su actuación relevante en el ejercicio de la profesión militar y sobre la que recae la importante responsabilidad de dirigir a la Armada en la investidura de Comandante en Jefe. ATENTO: a lo precedentemente expuesto y a lo informado por el Departamento Jurídico-Notarial, Sección Jurídica del Ministerio de Defensa Nacional.
