VISTOS: VISTO: las actuaciones por las cuales el Comando General de la Armada solicita se incorporen al Reglamento de Ceremonial Naval los "Sitios de Recordación Naval".- RESULTANDO: I) que el mencionado Reglamento fue aprobado por el artículo 1ro. del Decreto 8.489 de 16 de enero de 1947 y modificado por los Decretos 23.897 de 25 de noviembre de 1955, 689/979 de 27 de noviembre de 1979, 487/991 de 10 de setiembre de 1991 y 545/992 de 10 de noviembre de 1992.- II) que el artículo 211 del referido cuerpo normativo, refiere al procedimiento a seguir a fin de rendir honores a buques o embarcaciones.- CONSIDERANDO: I) la existencia de lugares en el mar donde se han perdido vidas, buques, aeronaves o en los que se han producido hechos de especiales características que ameritan su incorporación a nuestras tradiciones navales.- II) la pertinencia que el Mando Naval reconozca los referidos lugares como "Sitios de Recordación Naval", identificándolos por latitud y longitud, de manera adecuada en cartas editadas por la Armada Nacional.- ATENTO: a lo precedentemente expuesto, a lo preceptuado por el artículo 5to. de la Ley 10.808 de 16 de octubre de 1946 y a lo dictaminado por la Asesoría Letrada del Ministerio de Defensa Nacional.- EL PRESIDENTE DE LA REPUBLICA, DECRETA: FIRMANTES: BATLLE - LUIS BREZZO Artículo 1 Incorpóranse al artículo 211 del Reglamento de Ceremonial Naval, aprobado por el artículo 1ro. del Decreto 8.489 de 16 de enero de 1947, en la redacción dada por los Decretos 23.897 de 25 de noviembre de 1955, 689/979 de 27 de noviembre de 1979, 487/991 de 10 de setiembre de 1991 y 545/992 de 10 de noviembre de 1992, los siguientes incisos:(*) [Nota: Ver: Texto.] Artículo 2 Comuníquese, publíquese y pase al Comando General de la Armada para su conocimiento y efectos pertinentes.
