VISTOS: VISTO: la resolución Nº 54/97 del Grupo Mercado Común del MERCOSUR por la que se aprobó el Reglamento Técnico Mercosur sobre envases y equipamientos elastoméricos destinados a entrar en contacto con alimentos; CONSIDERANDO: I) lo establecido en el artículo 38 del Protocolo Adicional al Tratado de Asunción sobre la Estructura Institucional del MERCOSUR -Protocolo de Ouro Preto- aprobado por la Ley No. 16.712 de 1º. de setiembre de 1995, respecto de que los Estados parte se comprometen a adoptar todas las medidas necesarias para asegurar en sus respectivos territorios el cumplimiento de las normas emanadas de los órganos correspondientes previstos en el artículo 2º del referido Protocolo; II) que es necesario proceder de acuerdo al compromiso asumido por la República en el Protocolo mencionado poniendo en vigencia en el derecho positivo nacional las normas emanadas del Grupo Mercado Común referidas en el VISTO; III) lo informado por la División Jurídico-Notarial y la Comisión Técnica Asesora en Materia de Alimentos del Ministerio de Salud Pública; ATENTO: a lo preceptuado por el artículo 1º y siguientes de la Ley No. 9.202 de 12 de enero de 1934 y concordantes; EL PRESIDENTE DE LA REPUBLICA DECRETA: FIRMANTES: BATLLE - HORACIO FERNANDEZ - ALBERTO BENSION - SERGIO ABREU - ALVARO ALONSO Artículo 1 Adóptase el Reglamento Técnico MERCOSUR sobre envases y equipamientos elastoméricos destinados a entrar en contacto con alimentos, aprobado por la resolución Nº 54/97 del Grupo Mercado Común del MERCOSUR, que se anexa al presente y forma parte integral del mismo y que se incorporará al Capítulo 12 - Materiales en contacto con alimentos - Sección 7 - del Reglamento Bromatológico Nacional (Decreto Nº 315/994 de 5 de julio de 1994). (*) [Nota: Ver: Texto.] Artículo 2 La vigencia del presente Decreto será a partir de su publicación en el Diario Oficial.
