VISTOS: VISTO: la solicitud de la Asociación Cultivadores de Arroz (ACA), referente a la conveniencia de mantener el beneficio comercial para suministros eléctricos con actividad de riego con fines productivos en el período 1 de octubre de 2023 - 31 de marzo de 2024; RESULTANDO: I) que solicita la continuidad del programa de beneficios comerciales referidos en el Decreto N° 101/023, de 24 de marzo de 2023, instrumentado por la Administración Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Eléctricas (UTE) a suministros de energía eléctrica con actividad de riego con fines productivos; II) que dicho Ente ha instrumentado el mismo a través de una serie de resoluciones que se renuevan periódicamente; CONSIDERANDO: I) que compete al Poder Ejecutivo la definición de las políticas industrial y energética; II) que las actividades desarrolladas en el ámbito de la cadena productiva arrocera resultan de vital importancia para la capacidad productiva del país; ATENTO: a lo expuesto y a lo dispuesto por el Decreto-Ley N° 15.031, de 4 de julio de 1980 y artículo 8 del Decreto N° 574/974, de 12 de julio de 1974, así como demás disposiciones modificativas y concordantes; EL PRESIDENTE DE LA REPÚBLICA DECRETA: FIRMANTES: LACALLE POU LUIS - ELISA FACIO - AZUCENA ARBELECHE - FERNANDO MATTOS Artículo 1 Exhórtase a la Administración Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Eléctricas, a extender entre el 1 de octubre de 2023 y el 31 de marzo de 2024, el beneficio comercial vigente hasta mayo de 2023 para los suministros identificados con usos eléctricos de riego con fines productivos, según Decreto N° 101/023, de 24 de marzo de 2023. Artículo 2 Comuníquese, publíquese.
