III) que dicho cargo se suprimió al cesar su anterior titular, en mérito a lo dispuesto por el artículo 6º de la Ley Nº16.320 de 1º de noviembre de 1992. Considerando: que por razones de buena administración es conveniente conferir vocación delegatoria al funcionario Encargado de la Dirección de Defensa del Consumidor, a efectos de dar un mejor cumplimiento a los cometidos contenidos en la Ley Nº 10.940 de 19 de setiembre de 1947 y el artículo 7º del Decreto Nº 229/988 de 17 de marzo de 1988. Atento: a lo expuesto El Presidente de la República DECRETA: FIRMANTES: SANGUINETTI - JUAN ALBERTO MOREIRA Artículo 1 Confiérese al Director General de Secretaría del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas la potestad de delegar las atribuciones referidas a la defensa del consumidor, en el funcionario Encargado de la Dirección de Defensa del Consumidor. Artículo 2 Comuníquese, etc.
