VISTOS: Visto: los decretos 108/975 y 107/975 de 4 de febrero de 1975, por los cuales el Poder Ejecutivo decidió impulsar la publicación del "Archivo Artigas" y de la Biblioteca Artigas de "Autores Clásicos Uruguayos", cuya edición fue cometida por las leyes 10.491 de 10 de junio de 1944 y 11.473 de 10 de agosto de 1950, a la Comisión Nacional "Archivo Artigas" y a la Comisión Editora de la "Biblioteca Artigas" respectivamente, y las resoluciones de 7 de diciembre de 1955 y de 13 de setiembre de 1940, que disponen la publicación de la "Revista Nacional" y de la "Revista Histórica", cuya edición fue encomendad y realizan la Academia Nacional de Letras y el Museo Histórico Nacional Considerando: I) Que las colecciones citadas fueron creadas para reunir los testimonios que ilustran sobre el pensamiento y la vida del Fundador de la Orientalidad, General José Artigas y divulgar los valores de la producción literaria y de la cultura histórica del Uruguay; II) Que es indispensable dotar a los organismos mencionados de los recursos necesarios para financiar el costo de la edición de los Tomos en prensa que continúan las colecciones que actualmente alcanzan a los Tomos XII y 144 y números 231 y 135 respectivamente, El Presidente de la República DECRETA: FIRMANTES: BORDABERRY - DANIEL DARRACQ - ALEJANDRO VEGH VILLEGAS Artículo 1 Destínase la suma de $ 200:000.000 (doscientos millones de pesos) a la Comisión Nacional "Archivo Artigas" a la Comisión Editora de la Biblioteca Artigas" de "Autores Clásicos Uruguayos", a la Academia Nacional de Letras y al Museo Histórico Nacional, para financiar el costo de la edición de las colecciones cuya publicación les ha sido encomendada. Artículo 2 Dicha suma será atendida con los fondos previstos por el artículo 244º de la ley 14.189 de 30 de abril de 1974, debiéndose librar en cada caso y previa resolución del Poder Ejecutivo el cheque correspondiente a favor de la Comisión u Organismo que haya realizado la publicación. Artículo 3 Las Comisiones y Organismos rendirán cuenta documentada de acuerdo a lo dispuesto por el artículo 43º de la ley 13.318 de fecha 28 de diciembre de 1964. Artículo 4 Publíquese, etc.
