Statute overview

About this statute

This provision gives the Act its short title: the Dairy Produce Board (Establishment) Act. This section defines “Board” and “producer” for the Act, unless the context otherwise requires. The Dairy Produce Board is established as a body corporate. The Board must have five members appointed by the Minister, and three of those members must represent producers. Board members serve two-year terms, may be reappointed, and can stay on up to three months after expiry until a successor is appointed.
