About this statute

This section gives the Act its short title: the Dangerous Drugs Act. This section defines key terms used in the Act and says when an article is treated as imported or exported under licence. This section lists the drugs that Part II covers. A person must not import into Zambia a drug covered by this Part unless a licence has been granted by the Minister. Exporting drugs covered by Part II from Zambia is prohibited unless the Minister grants a licence.
