Appropriation Act, 1983

1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act, 1983. l. (1) On the authority of a. warrant issued by the President, there may be expended from the general revenues of the Republic such moneys, not exceeding in the aggregate, one thousand and sixty-one million, four hundred and forty-nine thousand, eight hundred and sixty-three kwa.cha., as may be required for the services of the Republic during the financial year ending on the 31st December, 1983. (2) The moneys mentioned in subsection (I) shall be appro­ priated to the services of the Republic mentioned in the second column of the Schedule in a.mounts not exceeding the a.mounts indicated in the third column thereof.
