About this statute
This section gives the Act’s short title and says it is to be read together with the Dangerous Drugs Act (the principal Act). This section amends section 10 by replacing two kwacha amounts with higher amounts. This provision amends the principal Act by inserting a new section immediately after section 19. For trafficking-related offences under the Act, the offender faces an unlimited fine of at least 2,000 kwacha, up to 15 years’ imprisonment, or both.
