“This section says the Act may be cited as the Citizenship of Zambia (Amendment) Act, 1986 and read together with the Citizenship of Zambia Act.”

This section says the Act may be cited as the Citizenship of Zambia (Amendment) Act, 1986 and read together with the Citizenship of Zambia Act. This provision repeals Sectionfourteert of the principal Act. This section amends the Act by repealing section 18 and replacing it with a new section. For Article 8(1)(c)(ii), the ten-year period is the time a person has the right to live in Zambia under an entry permit. This provision amends section 19 of the principal Act by repealing subsection (3).
